It was a dark and cloudy day... no, this is not a cheap novel, just a narrative of our trip which began with a very cold drive on the Ohio and Pennsy Turnpike to Somerset, PA, then a scenic hop south to Frostburg, MD. Shortly after we checked in to our hotel the rest of the Ohio gang arrived (from Cincinnati, Johnstown, and Parkersburg) having driven across route 50 from near Parkersburg, WV. They were all "top up". We were still shivering from our "top down and seven layers of clothes/jackets/raincoats. But we were all excited about the start of our adventure. The weather promises to be a bit warmer tomorrow, but still cool. The official trip begins tomorrow evening from Annapolis, MD when we meet up with many more Morgan's and have our "Kick-off" dinner. Our gang will go to dinner tonight at one of Frostburg's finest. :-)

Morgan Pub Crawl 2010
SUNDAY APRIL 25, 2010: You may recall that in 2007 several Morgan enthusiasts led by noted Morgan traveller Charles Miller took a Pub Crawl through the northeast. We toured through New Bruswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and many of the northeast states of New England. A great time.
Now, in 2010 many of us plan to do it again... this time down the east coast of the US via the Outer Banks, south to Florida, across to Mississippi, up the Natchez Trace and the Blue Ridge Parkway, over 20 days.
Check back daily for updates. Time permitting I hope to make daily updates so long as internet access is available.
It all starts in Annapolis on Thursday afternoon.
